Becca Rose Quartz Shimmering Skin Perfector

2016 really has been the year of the highlighter, and I can't wait to see what next year has in store. A few weeks ago I was going through my highlight collection and while I noticed lots of soft golden hues I couldn't find a pink one in sight. Actually that's a bit of a lie. I have one pink highlighter. It came broken to bits in my Anastasia Beverly Glow Kit (review here). I don't have a functional pink highlight. A few days later this rose coloured beauty arrived on Sephora's website and some how magically arrived at my door a few days later with a spend $25 GWP, 3 free samples, and 4x the points.  Weird :)

I am a big fan of Becca's highlighters (and fun fact: seems you guys are too! This post is actually my most popular post of all time). They are buttery, pigmented, and so so flattering. Currently in my collection I have Champagne Pop (pressed & poured), Moonstone (pressed), Rose Gold (pressed) and Opal (pressed).

Becca Rose Quartz Shimmering Skin Perfector

Becca's Rose Quartz Shimmering Skin Perfector (pressed) retails for $38 USD/$46 CAD (0.25 oz) and comes in their standard package size, only it is silver and pink!. I would describe this powder as a soft, ballerina pink with neutral undertones and lots of shimmer. The formula is different than usual, it is a touch more powdery, less opaque, and easier to be subtle with. It is quite similar to Starburst which came in the ABH palette, and to the Chanel Perles et Fantaisies.

Also wearing Smashbox BB Water (fair), Burberry Cats Lash Mascara, ColourPop Dope Taupe brow pencil, Nudestix Belle matte lip pencil, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, Estée Edit Koi Coral blush.

This wore well all day on me, and is a very welcome addition to my collection! I appreciate that it isn't as bold as their other highlights, and found the pink to be very wearable. I think this could also work well as a blush topper!

Have you had a chance to try this beauty? Currently it is sold out on Sephora Canada's site, but hopefully it will come back!

I paid for this product with my own money :)
